StreamSaaS is a web service for streamers. It helps streamers connect supported streaming platforms, collect live chat messages, and display those messages in a dashboard or OBS browser overlay.
Data Accessed
StreamSaaS accesses Google user data only after the user explicitly authorizes access through the Google OAuth consent screen.
For the YouTube integration, StreamSaaS requests the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly.
Through this scope, StreamSaaS may access the user’s YouTube channel identifier and channel title, active live broadcast information, active live chat identifier, and live chat messages from the user’s active live stream.
StreamSaaS also stores OAuth access and refresh tokens so the connected YouTube integration can continue working after the initial authorization.
Data Usage
StreamSaaS uses Google user data only to provide the YouTube live chat feature requested by the streamer.
The application uses YouTube readonly access to detect the streamer’s active live broadcast, find the associated live chat, read live chat messages, and display those messages inside the StreamSaaS dashboard and OBS browser overlay.
StreamSaaS does not use Google user data to create, edit, delete, or manage YouTube videos, comments, playlists, subscriptions, channels, or account settings.
StreamSaaS does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, data brokerage, or AI/ML model training.
Data Sharing
StreamSaaS does not sell Google user data or YouTube user data.
StreamSaaS does not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics resellers, or unrelated third parties.
Google user data may be processed by hosting and infrastructure providers only as necessary to operate StreamSaaS, protect the service, comply with law, or respond to abuse or security incidents.
Live chat messages are displayed only to the authenticated StreamSaaS user who connected the channel and in the OBS overlay URL controlled by that user.
Data Storage & Protection
StreamSaaS stores connected platform settings and OAuth tokens on StreamSaaS servers so the user does not need to reconnect YouTube for every stream.
StreamSaaS protects data in transit with HTTPS. OAuth credentials are handled server-side and are not intentionally exposed in the public browser interface.
Access to stored credentials and platform configuration is restricted to the application components that need it to provide the connected YouTube live chat feature.
StreamSaaS takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Google user data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Data Retention & Deletion
StreamSaaS retains Google user data only for as long as needed to provide the connected YouTube live chat feature, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
A user can revoke StreamSaaS access to Google data at any time in their Google Account security settings.
A user can request deletion of StreamSaaS account data, OAuth tokens, and connected platform data by emailing ia16122007@gmail.com.
After a valid deletion request, StreamSaaS will delete the connected platform data unless retention is required by law or needed to protect the service from abuse or security threats.
Google API Services User Data Policy
StreamSaaS use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The Google API Services User Data Policy is available at developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy.
